Hiking in Salzburg's countryside
When on a hike you may also want to stop at one of the quaint mountain cabins and taste the typical Salzburg delicatessen.
The picturesque long-distance trail Almenweg leads just past Wagrain. The trail is about 350km long and parts of it make wonderful hiking trails. Altogether there are 31 stages, all clearly signposted. The trail leads through mountains from one cabin on to the next.
